Our clients include government, international and private sector. Water Solutions utilizes a multidisciplinary team of experts to undertake the projects. Our professional services in this area include surveying both land and the marine environment.

Land surveying covers mostly the vegetation and shore lines of islands, survey of the islands vegetation type and surveying the coastal and marine features of islands. All these surveys form the basis for the development concept and design.

Marine surveyves include bathymetry, reef surveys, fish counts, and marine life assessments. Baseline maps and surveys are the first things that developers, planners and architects require.At present, we also have the capability to undertake GIS projects. Currently, we are focusing on helping companies and individuals to kick start GIS projects. GIS is a very new concept in Maldives and already we have started providing assistance in this Field. In early 2006, we have developed a Dengue GIS for Web Foundation.

Costal management is one of the biggest challenges for Maldives. As our islands are small and low lying, it is under intensve threats from the environment. Coastal management is one of the core environmental problems in Maldives and both the government and the private sector is faced with the dilemma of managing the coastline.

Our experience in coastal management has expanded from providing consultancy to project management and undertaking large scale civil works related to coastal management. We have provided solutions for various resorts to manage the coast line by recommending practical and cost effective solutions. Our experience inlude, design of breakwaters, shore protection measures, beach nourishment and providing solutions for coastal management.

This is an area where we are at present focusing greatly. Water and wastewater projects have increased in number especially after the December 2004 Tsunami. Our experience in this area includes concept designing of sewerage systems for small islands and the overall project management.
