Water Solutions Pvt Ltd had invested into a Teledyne Odom Hydrographic MB2 Multibeam System together with the Applanix POSMV positioning system, to expand our hydrographic surveying portfolio. We at WS are very excited to start the new services during the end of 2015.
New equipment’s features a broad range of sounding frequencies from 200 - 460 KHz and offers a wide coverage and narrower acoustic beam. Using both amplitude and phase bottom detection, the MB2 is capable of sounding a swath of up to 140 degree in up to 200m of water depth in high resolutions. Applanix POSMV provides accurate GNSS +INS positioning, is considered as the industry standard due to its robust and reliable positioning system.
The applications of the new system is perfect for engineering projects, surveying ports and harbors, site survey ,coastal zone mapping, hydrography ( meeting IHO S-44 specification) , dredging and reclamation, ecological and habitat mapping and etc

Divers from Water Solutions dived the Alia wreck in south Male' atoll and took photos and carried an inspection of this wreck. Alia wreck is not known to many divers until now. The team from Water Solutions will be working with Jumeirah group to develop a promotional and educational project about the wrecks in South Male' Atoll.

WS completes aerial surveys of 15 islands in Maldives.
Clients can now view a number of aerial iages and videos of remote islands without going to the island. This service allows developers to inspect an island before deciding whether to invest or not. This helps the clients to bring down planning costs considerably. Aerial photos and videos of these islands are taken in every angle to give the opportunity and observe the island's features both inside, on the coastline and and within the coral reef.
